I got a set of two 100 ml perfumes for 1590/- (TOTAL) I returned a couple of things so I had the chance to try em out. I still haven’t found my signature scent yet. I now have migraine issues due to fibromyalgia & I’ve always been hypersensitive so my olfactive senses are both strong and allergic to intoxicating, sweet heavy scents, long lasting sillage can cause me irritation but irrespective of everything, I like fragrances which can uplift my mood (aromatherapy) I don’t invest much in perfumes, I mostly get the deo version if I like a particular smell which is pricey.
I’m more into gourmands, I can’t stand tuberose, Jasmine or patchouli (which is the worst, it’s like Wasabi for my nose) all these are intrinsic, invariable, widely used ingredients which are hard to eliminate... it’s almost impossible to find something which doesn’t include ‘em especially in the women’s range... I don’t like floral accords or anything fruity or too sweet. Anyway, if you are looking for more info on notes, tips, etc. hit me up, I want to be an alchemist so I’ve done a lot of research...
Fun Fact: I’m a teetotaller but I do like Rum in perfumes. Twilight Mauve was a blind buy and I’d say, “Never judge a perfume by its bottle” haha the new Lilac packaging is sooo irresistibly 90s, I had to get it luckily not much damage was done to my pocket 😛 Well it’s very sweet & sour, like extremely fruity, zesty, a bit irritating... but it smells fresh and nice after a while and it doesn’t grow on you like most other perfumes although it’s pretty strong. I’ll be using it in a combination with other perfumes/scents to mitigate the intensity, I thought I’ll like it more than Femme because that one has peony which belongs to the floral category, also I don’t like powdery fragrances and it has musk too which makes it a typical floral powdery scent but the reason why I like it is because the middle note has lots of Vanilla which is something I look for in every perfume... I have one with Rum & Vanilla but the orange in the top note has ruined it in unimaginable ways; as I was saying I’m more happy with Femme than Twilight Mauve which claims to have Cedar, White Tea & Apple. Well it’s not smelling much like either of them, u just get a faint whiff of white tea which is great but it has something floral which is overpowering & they haven’t listed that in the description.
What’s your signature scent? Frankly speaking there’s nothing better than Axe #AxeAngel Zara perfumes are quite long lasting which is impressive, also affordable, packaging is unique & Minimal🌷
