NOT all celebs are bad, I felt really horrible when I saw Aryan sitting like a scared timid kid when they were detaining him (and extorting money) SRK responsibly balanced things out when he reached the zenith of his career, he had the (grand) opportunity to come up with his movie “Fan” He spontaneously showed how younger celebs of next gen are expected to emulate them and take over their “reign”, there was one more point which he covered, I initially thought the movie was a bit silly and ungrounded but the climax had an eye opening epiphany, as a celeb he is shown apologising several times to the Businessman who’s gonna write him a big fat check for dancing at his daughter’s wedding… but at the end of the movie, he gives a huge lecture to his (own reflection) his ardent “fan”, he literally stoops to his level to give him a taste of his own medicine and this guy is like, “The entire concept of scandals or fame is ephemeral, people will forget your mistakes the very next day when another piece of news will obsolete it but I hail from a small town where it’s impossible for me to clear that indelible blotch you’ve left on my name…” and he concludes that with, “Aapne sab kuch bola bas sorry nahi bola” before leaving his hand and committing suicide.
At that point the audience was like “aah… he was begging for forgiveness cuz he was getting paid there ha? And now what?” They were literally voicing that in the auditorium and I was like, Thankyou Shahrukh :)
Sorry to say but neither 501 nor Tahir are on SRK’s level, I’ve met both of them on dating apps and I doubt they’ll reach there with that kind of attitude, it’s easy ruling as a Deaf (and dumb ;) you don’t utter a word to us “normal people” do you?) in the land of the Blind, survive real competition and maintain that upper hand and show me, SRK does that, every year from Mannat… Irrespective of “their time in the limelight” each actor from whichever generation even the ones who are total flops but good at heart, friendly, fun, gentle, who have that “personality”, are always loved by us and we can make out who’s here to be an Actor and who wants to be a “Celebrity”.
