I somehow fetched images of my cheetah print velvet shoes with those block kitten heels, aren’t they sassy? They have a unique shape… I had taken this dress 2 weeks ago but I didn’t share it because it would’ve matched Kesari Brahmastra… and looked contrived. I have nothing against it but people would’ve thought it is inspired by that. I can’t wear and blog any of this so for now I’m just sharing it verbally.
Although I don’t want to promulgate anything provocative, I love Slip dresses a lot and I don’t see it as something overtly salacious, the moment I noticed it, it reminded me of Barbie Doll, I found it very Chic & Summery, I immediately had to put something together because like I said, I love such lacy clothes, the shape is also very beautiful and this model is of a similar height so it was looking the same on me, I’ll have to snip it off if I want to go a little shorter, when I’ll get back on my feet I’ll team it up those sassy velvet cheetah print shoes or slip ons - they will look better and one of those beach totes, I had taken them when the prices were not that high, as of now LV has become too expensive & the whole “just girly” tumblr craze has also died down, as a fully grown adult I feel spending a fortune on such Luxury brands is pointless 🤷🏻♀️ and my style has also evolved a lot, I’m more into baguette purses now (I was always fond of them but they are easily available now) and I also love smaller bags and hobos but not the oversized ones, they have to be typically 90s, I have their classic Monogram Neverfull & Damier both, the latter has zippers instead of drawstrings but the shape is the same, it’s not their regular Neverfull, I also have the same bag as Angelina Jolie, we were the first to carry it, ergo it’s very special to me… it’s one of my priciest possessions, I remember I had booked it on Friday or Saturday & they raised the price within 48 hours, it was doubled up over the weekend but I luckily got it in the same amount because the invoice was already generated, I think it was a temporary proforma bill. The staff was waiting for me at the store on Monday because they were too excited, they wanted to tell me, “Mam mam the bag you got on Friday is for $$$$$ now, you were so lucky” they had sincerely kept it aside because some other customer was also asking for it but they told her it was sold out, I still remember the name, it was Louis Vuitton - Metis (I’ll always remember it) it is safely tucked in the bag section and it still looks brand new because I don’t use anything haphazardly, my puppy Oscar used to always get inside the adjoining wardrobe area (like I said I never showed that) he would hurriedly scuttle there because it had colder tiles, he’d literally push everyone to be the first to enter, it was like his idiosyncrasy because he knew our feet would make the flooring tiles warm and he loved going there on those cold tiles and lying flat on his chest lol he knew where my mom would keep the Louis Vuittons cuz I was always very careful about my stuff, you won’t find them lying around, they have to be in the dust bag and I have around 10 dust bags for my other handbags (got the dust bags from Amazon) the purses are hardly for 1500/- 2500/- maximum are from UK (huge sale but fresh pieces even the plastic film on all the metal hardware was intact) I love them… as I was saying my puppy 🐶 knew where my mom would keep the LV bags, so when I went there to keep one of them, he was the first to get inside (as usual) and when I opened my wardrobe, he excitedly showed me where I was supposed to put it, he knew which rack and what section… how cute, they are very attentive and all. The other bag Damier is actually openable so you can convert it into a full sized tote like Neverfull. I just recalled the name, it was Cabas Rivington… I don’t regret buying LV bags as I’ve always been fond of their luggage but it was too expensive so I’m pretty sure when they’d established that brand (almost a century ago) they must have launched miniature versions of their classic styles on popular demand, like the duffel bag Speedy & Neverfull, the canvas is very thick and highly resilient, it can stand water and other liquids and it doesn’t catch dust either so it’s a good investment, however as an adult, I do feel I would’ve probably just stuck to one bag… because of the exorbitant pricing but for me it was also like retail therapy to do away with trauma and depression (atypical). Speaking of the dress, I was a bit hesitant due of the tangerine 🍊 colour but I went ahead because of the shape, stitching, the lace… I thought it was unmissable, it doesn’t appear garish or loud in real life, it’s in fact very summery and fresh, the fabric is also thick, it is made out of satin but one of those proper rich satin materials so it doesn’t actually look like a lingerie/nightgown although it does qualify as a typical 90s Slip dress.
Shoes & Bags, I might wear my strappy slip ons but I felt like sharing this cute pair
