God exists!
Another coincidence... it’s a cute story:
I was listening to music one night (recently) and I happened to play this song which I was very fond of when I was 19, it reminded me of better days... when I had some hope left and I broke down into tears, I was singing along cuz I remembered all the lyrics but I was crying throughout. I just couldn’t stop crying and then I decided to go further back into time. I was looking for a particular Disney Movie OST, it was one of my fav albums, I remember singing along with that band when I was 11... I wanted to see if I remembered the lyrics which I did along with every beat!! I only had 7% battery left in my phone and since the device is old it usually switches off by 5 to 3%
I knew it’d be dead soon so I tried to make the most of it. I heard 4 songs and then there was only 3% battery left. I couldn’t find my fav track so I frantically googled it and it led me to YouTube.
I knew the phone would die in the middle of the song so I just kept wishing it doesn’t. I started playing it but then I got 2 ads and it was mandatory for me to put up with both as there was no option to skip them... then I erroneously pressed the home button and lost the link.
I’m used to that because when you play songs on apple music, you can go back to the home screen and carry on as usual, toggle between different apps and all, the songs keep playing in the background... if you want to conserve your phone’s energy when it’s low on battery, you can lock the phone because that will save you power.
It doesn’t always work though especially if you’ve only got 3-1% battery left. And you can’t do that if you are playing something in your YouTube browser but I made that mistake. So then I fetched the link again which was quick... I went to my search history and clicked on the last visited site which again led me to the YouTube video and I clicked on it but then I again pressed the home button out of habit!
Then I repeated the same process and I only had 2% battery now... I started playing the song. The first and second verses are my favourite so I heard them, I remembered the lyrics, luckily it didn’t die... then I went back to the start, like scrolled it back and heard the first and second verse again because I was singing along silently and I wanted to perfect it; then I saw another video from the same album and I only had 1% battery left, so I took it up as a challenge and played it, I paused it before finishing that video and moved on to another and played that one... it was a lullaby from the same album. I knew the band would be getting introduced to another singer by the middle of the song which I kept as a reminder for me to skip the latter half as I was really low on battery (although I love Belinda’s voice) the songs are mesmerising, beautiful & hard to resist... but as soon as she walked in I knew I was running out of reserve so I switched to another video and I saw it till the end, almost till the very last bit of their performance, then I went back to my fav song for one last time and heard the first and the second verses!!
After that I played the song which made cry on my Music app (the very first one) till the end...
all this in just 1% battery.
after that I went back to my home screen
and then the phone turned off.
Perfect timing bro
There are many coincidences which I have never shared! Too tired to write all of them
The song which made me cry... the first one was
“We are Young” by Fun. It’s still a fav and I’m never getting over it!
P.S. Did you know? The second gif has Raven Symoné? She was also a part of the titular song A La Nanita Nana as an adult.
Oh I almost forgot... there was one more coincidence. It was 2:30 am in the night and I was thinking about incinerating or burning the gifts (not for real) there is a reason very legit or valid, some meaning —deeper than you can ever imagine, it’s a crazy idea which is also symbolic, figurative & poetic. I’m not talking about heartbreaks here. I would be sharing that in my next book but I won’t be making those gifts or the guy I love “obvious”, I won’t be talking about him or the gifts at all, you’ll know... it’s not about him, the genre & leit motif is completely different, anyway I wasn’t actually planning to burn them... I was just imagining that because it was cathartic and due to some other reason like I said, I kept saying I’ll burn them in my head.
Then I happened to play the song “We are young” randomly and the chorus Lit-erally had:
Tonight, we are young
so let’s set the world on fire
we can burn brighter than the sun
...
Xoxo

I couldn’t see the name of that song in my playlist ‘cuz I only have track numbers, not names for certain songs which are imported from my CD, nowadays you don’t have CD/DVD drives so I had to use my hard-disk & I‘d done that long ago in 2016 (after that I synced all the songs into my iPhone) so it’s not like I knew the lyrics before playing it.
It was just a mere coincidence...
